Introductory tour of Cape Town: Drop off at entrance of Mount Nelson Hotel for a walk down Government Avenue and Company Gardens. Walk by the South African National Gallery, the country’s premier art museum, housing outstanding collections of South African, African, British, French, Dutch and Flemish art. Government Avenue has ornamental gateways guarded by the Stone Lions sculpted by Anton Anreith.

As we continue to walk down the Company's Gardens we can see the House of Parliament. We will learn about the life and legacy of Nobel Peace Prize winner, anti-apartheid activist, Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

This morning’s tour ends with free time to explore The Oranjezicht Market, a local’s favorite gathering spot for socializing while purchasing their weekly farm products, wine and arts and crafts -- all made with a sustainable approach. Here we enjoy an organic lunch at leisure.

After lunch, we head to Cape Peninsula. Located in the Cape Point Nature Reserve, Cape Point is the most southwestern point of the continent, as well as the longest peninsula in South Africa. Also considered a Natural World Heritage Site, here you will find dramatic scenery of endless ocean views. We will drive by quaint towns along the way down to Simon’s Town.

Welcome dinner at Marble:
