Late this afternoon we gather in the lobby to meet the other boyzz, your local guide and tour director. We will start exploring our surroundings on foot. Our first stop will be to visit The House of Collections, which is a part of the National museum and has always been considered one of Iceland's most beautiful buildings. Then we walk to the Harpa Music center and Hallgrimskirkja church. Here we see the Sun Voyager sculpture. The Modern glass honeycomb concert hall & conference center, home to the national opera & symphony designed by famed artists Olafur Eliasson.
The Sun Voyager is a sculpture by Jón Gunnar Árnason, it is described as a dreamboat.
Bus transfer to Hallgrimskirja. Situated on a hilltop near the centre of Reykjavík, the church is one of the city's best-known landmarks.
We will walk back on the main street to Sumac for our welcome dinner. Sumac draws inspiration from the Middle East and North Africa.
